David L. Slade is President of BK2M Search Group, a
Scottsdale, Arizona firm specializing in executive search for health care
organizations nationwide. Prior to launching his own firm in 2000, David was
Vice-President for
a well established national
executive search firm with responsibility for serving the
healthcare and insurance industries in the areas of management consulting and
executive search, both nationally and internationally.
David’s professional background offers a rich experience
base in providing executive recruiting for clients within the health care
industry. He has over twenty-six years as an executive with major national
companies such as Tri-West Health Care (CHAMPUS), Cigna, MetLife Health Plans,
and PeaceHealth.
David held several executive level positions as CEO,
President, COO, and Executive VP. His expertise in operations, medical
management, network development, government relations, and customer service was
gained through these executive leadership roles, including HMO startups and
turn-arounds. He has proven achievement in settings that require strong
strategic business leadership, aggressive fiscal management, and re-engineering
of service and medical delivery systems.
David graduated from Brigham Young University where he
received his Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master’s Degree in Business and
Administration with an emphasis in health care delivery and finance.
